Andrew D. Bizer is the Founding Partner of Bizer & DeReus, LLC, a Louisiana-based civil rights law firm with a national practice focusing on disability discrimination, personal injury, and class actions. With over two decades of legal experience, Andrew has established himself as a leading advocate for individuals with disabilities and those whose civil rights have been violated.
Currently in his 21st year of practice, Andrew has dedicated the majority of his career to civil litigation, with particular focus on Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) cases. He has been involved in over 500 ADA cases. His notable successes include forcing the City of New Orleans to make the Historic St. Charles Avenue Streetcar accessible to wheelchair users and forcing LSU, Queens College, ULL, and several other major Universities to finally make their campuses accessible to wheelchair users.
