Amy E. Norris is a Senior Attorney in the Norris Law Group’s Washington, DC office. She focuses her practice on Probate Administration and Civil Litigation. Before starting her own firm, Ms. Norris worked at the Department of Justice, U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Columbia. During her time at DOJ, Ms. Norris prosecuted cases, representing the U.S. government in numerous hearings and two trials.
Before working at the DOJ, Ms. Norris litigated cases for small and large businesses. Ms. Norris has significant energy litigation experience, including contributing to the success of defending a $482 million claim for termination costs. Ms. Norris also has notable experience in real estate litigation, representing businesses and homeowners in contract disputes—and gaining large settlements.
Ms. Norris draws on her years of success before administrative agencies, state and federal trial courts, and courts of appeals to resolve issues quickly and create the best outcome for the client. Ms. Norris is a fierce court presence and is unencumbered by geographic boundaries or venue.
