Prior to opening this law office, Adam practiced law in the Trusts and Estates Departments at two of the most substantial law firms on Long Island. In addition, he was a Manager in the Trust and Estate Practice Group at Marcum LLP, where he devoted substantially all of his time to estate, gift and income tax planning and estate and trust administration for high net worth clients. Adam is a frequently-requested speaker and author. He has also been an adjunct Tax Professor for the Graduate Tax Program at Long Island University/C.W. Post Campus and former Co-Chairman of the Estate and Personal Financial Planning Committee for the Nassau Chapter, New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants ("NYSSCPA"). He is also a member of the Tax Section of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants ("AICPA"), the Estate Planning and Administration of Estates and Trusts Committees of the NYSSCPA, the Trusts & Estates Law, Elder Law and Tax Law Sections of the New York State Bar Association ("NYSBA"), the Surrogate’s Court Estates & Trusts and Taxation Committees of the Nassau County Bar Association. Adam is the Secretary and a Director of The Claire Friedlander Family Foundation.
