Adam J. Gomez
Adam Gomez is a principal at Grant & Eisenhofer where he focuses on complex pharmaceutical medical device litigation and environmental litigation. Prior to joining G&E, Mr. Gomez was an associate at a national defense litigation firm where he defended clients in catastrophic personal injury, products liability, professional liability, and civil rights litigation.
Mr. Gomez’s key roles include Chair of the Insurance Committee representing residents and businesses harmed by the catastrophic gas explosions in Merrimack Valley of Massachusetts caused by the negligence of Columbia Gas and NiSource; a Chair of the Discovery Committee in the Gilead Tenofovir Cases, California Judicial Council Coordinated Proceeding (JCCP) No. 5043, representing members of the HIV community injured by Gilead Sciences, Inc.’s negligent design of tenofovir-based antiretroviral medications; Co-Chair of the American Association for Justice Tenofovir Litigation Group; and representing victims of the Paradise, California Camp Fire—the deadliest in the state’s history—where plaintiffs allege that fires were sparked by aging, unsafe electrical infrastructure maintained by Pacific Gas & Electric.
