Abbigale Fredrick is an attorney who works from Allen & Allen’s Richmond, VA office. In addition to being an experienced lawyer, Abby is a strategic business manager. She supervises the new case department and works with clients at the earliest stages of their cases. Abby meets with potential new clients and helps determine how the attorneys at Allen & Allen are best able to meet their needs. Abby’s background in insurance defense gives her valuable insight into how insurance companies handle and evaluate personal injury and medical malpractice claims. This experience is an advantage to the firm’s clients as she is better able to evaluate potential personal injury cases.
Abby received her Bachelor of Arts in English from James Madison University and earned her Juris Doctor from the T.C. Williams School of Law at the University of Richmond. She spent almost fifteen years as a litigator in Richmond, VA and has handled settlements and trials across Virginia and the District of Columbia. She believes in giving back to the community and has volunteered at the Central Virginia Legal Aid Pro Bono Attorney Hotline.
Abby lives in the Richmond area with her husband and three children. She is a Troop Leader for the Girl Scouts of the Commonwealth of Virginia and the Tuckahoe Elementary School PTA.

- Develops and maintains a cohesive Intake Department team. Directly supervises, coaches and develops Intake Specialists on call handling, use of technology resources, client service, and overall performance. Manages intake of new cases for all branches, meeting with potential clients, interviewing new clients, evaluating the merits of a case, and making a determination as to whether the case should be accepted. Travel to branches or to meet clients required Follows established procedures to assign new cases to Attorney/Legal Assistant teams. Reviews reports of call intake and new cases to identify trends and to make recommendations for new procedures or changes. Ensures that Intake Specialists complete calls efficiently and effectively. Audits Intake Specialist call handling by periodically listening to calls directly and reviewing statistical reports of calls taken. Ensures that the Intake staff members follow Firm procedures such as client service, responsiveness, case merit evaluation, and other call handling processes. Handles elevated Intake department calls. Provides ongoing training and identifies training needs for Intake department. Works with Training Specialist to ensure timely and effective education is provided to the staff. Collaborates with Attorneys and the Director of Marketing on projects related to improving the Firm’s case intake, client service, or general intake procedures. Utilizes the Firm’s case management system and other technology resources to document new case and client information appropriately and to extract data for reporting.
