Bukhari Nuriddin earned his J.D. degree from Howard University School of Law in 2008. After passing the Georgia Bar, Mr. Nuriddin entered private practice representing both small businesses and individual clients. In 2009, Mr. Nuriddin founded The Law Office of Bukhari Nuriddin, P.C. Mr. Nuriddin believed that in starting his own practice, he could be more effective in helping people deal with a variety of legal issues. Since then, Mr. Nuriddin has represented numerous high-profile clients in the pursuit of their transactional goals and has appeared on behalf of individual clients in State Court. Mr. Nuriddin practices exclusively in the areas of intellectual property and entertainment law, criminal defense, tax, wills, trusts & estate planning, and landlord tenant law. I enjoy practicing law at The Goolsby Law Firm, LLC with my oldest son in Augusta and Martinez, Georgia. We deal with divorce cases, personal injury, criminal defense and other litigation on a daily basis. As a former federal prosecutor in Augusta, Georgia for over 20 years, I have tried some of the largest fraud and public corruption cases in Georgia and U.S. history.

I am a graduate of the University of Georgia School of Law and am admitted to practice in the State of Georgia. I'm a native Atlantan and a strong advocate for the people of the Metro area.

George Fox is a respected Atlanta attorney with more than 30 years of experience in the practice of law. After graduating from Emory University Law School and gaining experience with a local firm, he founded his own firm in 1983.

For the past seven years, George has written a monthly column for Smoke Signals, the newspaper in Big Canoe, Georgia. Aimed at laymen, it is titled “Big Canoe Law School.” He also serves as Adjunct Professor in the Center for Transactional Law and Practice at the Emory Law School.

As an attorney, George strives to present the facts clearly in plain English. He enjoys connecting personally with clients and finding fresh, creative, innovative solutions for their legal problems.

George is a sought-after resource for dealing with individual, inter-family and business issues when faced with disability. He is also known for his work dealing with end-of-life issues.

George frequently presents to bankers, financial advisors, veterans, industry groups and others. He has given seminars for the Georgia Tech School of Management and at State Bar of Georgia Continuing Legal Education classes. George also works with many charitable entities regarding their IRS qualification and structure.

George holds undergraduate and law degrees from Emory University. He shares both his personal and professional life with his wife Michele, who serves as the Administrator for Fox+Mattson, P.C.

George’s hobbies include directing musicals for community theater, an interest which goes back to his founding Ad Hoc Productions at Emory University – now the oldest theater production company on campus.

Paul A. Schofield is admitted to practice in the state and federal courts of Georgia. Paul gained unique knowledge and insight into bankruptcy law while serving as a law clerk of the Honorable John S. Dalis, United States Bankruptcy Judge for the Brunswick and Waycross Divisions of the Southern District of Georgia. He has also represented clients in negotiations with the IRS to resolve tax issues. As a general practitioner, Paul can provide you with legal advice on almost any legal issue.

Julian A. Fortuna is Partner in The Saylor Law Firm LLP where he practices business and tax law with a focus on tax planning and representing clients before the Internal Revenue Service ("IRS") and various other tax authorities. He also handles estate and trust tax matters.

Prior to entering private practice, Mr. Fortuna was Vice President and General Tax Counsel for InterContinental Hotels Group ("IHG"). During his eleven year tenure at IHG, Mr. Fortuna managed a team of tax professionals responsible for structuring the domestic and international tax impacts of numerous mergers, acquisitions, dispositions and other corporate transactions, as well as construction projects, leases, exchanges and other real and personal property transactions. Mr. Fortuna was also responsible for state and local tax matters (including property, sales/use and occupancy taxes). He also directed tax research and planning for cross-border financing, captive insurance, and the worldwide use of trade names and other intangible assets. He represented IHG before the IRS and various other tax authorities on audits, appeals, and ruling requests, and pursued tax regulatory and legislative changes for the benefit of IHG with U.S. Treasury and Congressional personnel in Washington D.C.

Mr. Fortuna's professional experience also includes eleven years in the tax department at Deloitte and Touche where he served as the lead tax service provider to a variety of corporate and individual clients. Prior to that time, he served four years in the U.S. Treasury Department at Office of the Chief Counsel for the IRS where he was responsible for litigation in the United States Tax Court. He distinguished himself at the Office of Chief Counsel by winning seven of the eight cases he tried (he won a third of the other case), including two fraud cases and an accumulated earnings tax case.

Mr. Fortuna earned a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting and Political Science from the City University of New York, a Juris Doctor from Rutgers University School of Law, and a Master of Laws in Taxation from Emory University School of Law. He is a member in good standing of the State Bar of Georgia (Tax and Fiduciary Law Sections), American Bar Association (Tax Section), Atlanta Bar Association (Tax, Corporate Counsel, Immigration and International, Estate Planning and Probate Sections), International Fiscal Association, American Association of Attorney-CPAs, Atlanta Tax Forum, and The Lawyers Club of Atlanta.

In recognition of his extensive knowledge and experience in tax law, Mr. Fortuna was recently selected for inclusion in the 2011 edition of Best Lawyers in America (Copyright 2010 by Woodward/White, Inc., of Aiken S.C.).
